Hi! My name is Amelia or Amy, as most people know me.
I am the owner and Head Event Designer for The Rose Cottage.
I have personally worked in every aspect of the business and
continue to do so as we get larger. I started the business when
I was a new mother; having decided early on that I would want to be
home with my children while they were young. The Rose Cottage has
allowed me to do this, and I am so excited to see it has taken off.

I grew up in Chicago's Western Suburbs, and quickly realized that I really
enjoy the quiet country life. This is what has brought me to Sandwich, IL.
You may have been wondering why the store front address and information
is not readily available on this web-site. The reason behind this is that
the store front is also currently located in Sandwich. For fear that this may seem
too far for most of our Chicago brides, we have chosen not to make this prominent
on the web-site. We do not want to discourage anyone from calling us because of this factor.

I have developed an in-home-consultation approach, because of the potential geographic distance
between our clients and the store front. We as designers will come to your home,
place of employment or a neutral coffee shop/eatery near you. This approach
allows the client to be more comfortable and to not be inconvenienced with store hours.
If you prefer, our storefront in Sandwich on Route 34 is open for any appointments,
